Cabinet Makers and Coach Makers even Shipwrights, used to make their own, “potions” for want of a better word, to prepare their finished pieces for sale. These potions or polishes were unique to each Craftsman and the formula was a closely guarded secret. Woe betides the foolish apprentice or assistant who divulged the secret of the formula to another. Punishment could be severe.Its great at removing wax build up from all finished wood and furniture. Whenever you use wax or many of the spray polishes on your wood and furniture, there is always a little bit left behind after you polish.
